Bavarian chauffeur tour city - Wuerzburg
The northern beginning of the Romantic Road is one of the most interesting cities in southern Germany - the impressive fortress "Marienburg" (a textbook example for fortifications), the main churches "Kiliansdom" and "Marienkirche" (with precious statues done by Germany's best woodcarver and stonemason of the late middle ages Tilman Riemenschneider, a son of Wuerzburg) and the Bishop's palace "Residenz" (the biggest sealing fresco painting in the world, UNESCO listed) are just a few examples. Wuerzburg is the centre of Franconian wine production, some excellent whites are made here.
